What is People Proof?

Being People Proof is displaying the knowledge and ability to navigate people and relationships. It’s the ability to seek out relationships that are beneficial while denying negative and draining people access to our lives and destinies.

Nothing is more damaging to our lives than the wrong people. People have great potential, both to help and hurt us. However, no one can secure or sustain destiny without the aid of other people.

Herein is the dilemma. We are naturally constructed to be connected to other people. We were made for fellowship. The good news is that there are more than seven billion people on earth, so there is a great potential for connection.

The problem is that while we are naturally born with the need to connect, we are not born with a natural sense or a natural qualifying system that tells us who to connect with. We have to develop that.

We all need seven essential roles to be filled in our lives at any given time. These roles never change, but the people and personalities that fulfill them certainly do. To our detriment, we often attempt to make people perpetually fill the same roles — perhaps roles they were never qualified to fill. We may have selected them for personal reasons rather than purposeful reasons.

But, there is hope! This book will help you to distinguish between those who support you and those who steal your energy. You will learn how to identify and invite the right people to walk with you in your mutually beneficial seasons. This book will help you to be People Proof!
